Tension Stress
Tension and stress are due to the muscles in the back, neck, scalp and shoulder being under stress. Tension stress is due to the tiredness of day to day life, events in the office or home which are causing unhappiness, bad eating habits, and menstrual cycle (for women.)
Tension headache is caused by tension stress. The headache comes when you wake up. The headache is due to general muscular aches in the body, dizziness, sleep problems, fatigue, irritation, loss of concentration, and disturbance due to light or sound. It is basically not being able to tackle the day to day activities in a systematic way that leads to tension headache.
The headaches can be tackled with aspirin or ibuprofen. Stress management and biofeedback can also be used as a natural aleternative. Stress management classes are held for employees in many firms today. Relieving tension stress starts with having proper night’s sleep, drinking plenty of water, eating healthy, and exercising. Exercises like walking, skipping, rowing, swimming, and jogging are helpful. Exercise increases the blood circulation, leads to better heart functions, and lesser headaches.
Biofeedback is a technique which uses the signals from the body to reduce the cause of the disturbance. There are biofeedback machines that are used to inform you of any stress on muscles and by relaxing the stressed muscles.
