Allergies are caused by a person's immune system's adverse reaction to substances in the environment. According to the Center for Disease Control, allergic conditions are the most common health issues affecting children in the U.S. It is estimated that as many as 30% of adults and 40% of children in U.S. have allergies. We investigate not only the types of allergens affecting the patient, but also underlying imbalance of the immune system.
